Saturday BBQ Dinner

NEGHC invites all members, exhibitors and exhibitor’s families to join us for a catered dinner Saturday, September 9th at 7pm at the show venue in the large building with a cupola. (Reservations must be made by September 1st).

Show Office Check-In Hours

Friday September 8th- 2PM to 4PM

Saturday September 9th- 8AM to 10AM

Sunday September 10th- 8AM to 10AM

Please report directly to the Show Office to check-in before unloading.
Departures by 8pm Sunday night.
Please contact us prior to August 21st if you need to arrive outside of office hours. We will do our best to accommodate you. Fees may be charged.
Thursday September 7th is available to those exhibitors traveling 250+ miles. Any Thursday arrivals must be approved by horsejudge125@gmail.com prior to August 21st. A $50 early arrival fee will be charged per horse plus stall fees. We can not allow any arrivals before 5:00 PM on Thursday.
Any Monday departures must be approved by horsejudge125@gmail.com prior to August 15th. A $50 late departure fee will be charged per horse plus stall fees.

$25 for Gypsy, Gypsy Cross & Drum classes ($20 for NEGHC members who joined by July 31st, 2023)
$12 for Open Classes
$5 for Youth classes Stalls

$50 Weekend (Friday to Sunday)
- Horse Stalls

- Unstabled fee (showing from your trailer)

All entries not received as pre-entries (postmarked or emailed by August 21st) will incur a $30 late fee per horse. Post Entries are accepted on the Day of the Show.

Campers etc

$50 per day per camper (hooked or not) (Water, dump stations, 30 and 50 AMP hook ups)

If you have a trailer that you are sleeping in, then you must pay the camper fee.

Office fee $15 per horse

Entry Requirements

Amateurs must present a GVHS amateur card at check in.
Current copy of registration papers must be submitted at check in for all Gypsy, Drum and Gypsy Cross horses.

Liability waivers must be completed with all requested names and signatures and must be submitted with entries.
Health Requirements- In accordance with NYS Equine Health Requirements, the following are required: 1) A current rabies vaccination during the past 12 months. 2) A current, Negative Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA/Coggins) Test in the past 24 months for NYS horses or in the last 12 months for out-of-state animals. 3) Out-of-state horses must have a valid health certificate (valid for 30 days following the date of examination).

Lunch

Unfortunately, there were not any food booths available and our past food truck owner has retired. NEGHC will sponsor a lunch for exhibitors on Saturday and Sunday. Donations are appreciated.

113 Sunshine Dr., Cobleskill NY 12043 (Conveniently located not far from I-88)

Directions from Northeast/New England States/New York City Area: Take New York Thruway North to exit 25A, which is I-88. Take I-88 to Exit 22 (the first Cobleskill Exit) Turn left after the ramp and turn right onto County Road 1 (also known as Mineral Springs Road). Turn Right onto Grand Street and Fairgrounds is on the right.

Directions from Binghamton NY/Pennsylvania: Follow I-88 East to Exit 21 (it is also marked for SUNY Cobleskill). Bear to the left to Route 7. Turn right and follow Route 7 to County Road 1 (also known as Mineral Springs Road) go to Grand Street, turn left and Fairgrounds is on the right.

Directions from the Western NY state area: Take New York Thruway East to the Canajoharie exit and then get onto Route 10. Follow it South, turn right onto North Grand Street and it will bring you directly into the village of Cobleskill. At the red light in the center of the village, go straight across Main Street to South Grand Street and the Fairgrounds is on the left after you go under a railroad underpass.
